Working is also fun. If we work hard it is also a very good thing because we are obeying Holiness. All we nuns worked very hard because they want to follow Holiness. It was a great time with much joyful effort. It is the garden behind the Naro Hall.

Yesterday we performed the puja of Dolma Yudog. It was successfully done. Holiness also attended the puja followed by all the nuns. It is a ritual puja for releasing the obstacles of all sentient beings.

These days we our constructing a new road up to Druk Amitabha Mountain. First when Amitabha was constructed there was no road, then the nuns made a rough road and now we our constructing the new road. The road which is under construction that is not only for the nunnery, clinic or for Holiness, it is constructed for the villagers and everybody who feels very difficult

We have posted a video that you all may like to watch. It is a history of Druk Amitabha Mountain which has been put together from a lot of different sources and various people around the world and was compiled by Drukpa Publications so that we can show our guests and visitors when they come here to visit. As you may not get a chance to see it anytime soon, we thought we would put it here for you to see.

Some days ago we did kora of Swayambhunath Stupa for 13 days. It was from 8th to 20th. Every day we went for kora at 3am and came back at 6am.

DRUK AMITABHA MOUNTAIN, KATHMANDU - BEDS FOR NUNS
Thanks mainly to the donation from Lena Tan, Jigme Phende's sister, and also partly to His Holiness's financial support, 150 beds were being made. Many of us have had health problems, due to sleeping on cement floors with very thin layer of floor coverings. But now, this problem is resolved. We are still thinking of making another 100 beds, so that the remaining nuns and the new nuns will also be spared from health problems.

Infrastructure Development on Druk Amitabha Mountain
Written by Progress ReportsWe want to thank all the sponsors for helping us achieve so much in 20 days. You can see the progress of construction very clearly from the photos below.
As of today, the water tank project is half completed, depending on the availability of funds. There is a balance of NR 4.3million or USD 72,000 required to complete the water tank.
Meanwhile, we are making full use of the truck to buy water, food supplies;and daily necessities. The truck is very useful for us, and it really helps us to practically carry out our work and responsibilities much easier.
Naro Phodrang in Shey, Extension Completed
Written by Progress Reports There was a big rush to finish the extended wings of Naro Phodrang and the paintings on the interior walls, before the heavy snow set in. We have to start preparing the Naro Phodrang for the forthcoming birthday celebration of His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa.

While our sisters in Shey were rushing to complete the extension of the Naro Phodrang, construction work for the Naro Assembly Hall on Druk Amitabha Mountain has also been speeding up.
The installation of several projection monitors and all high-quality audio-visual system will be in place.
